Will playing Skyrim on lower settings make the game not so fun?

I'm debating weather or not to buy Skyrim for my Laptop. It will run on my laptop, but I'll have to play in lower settings. My question is will this make the experience terrible? And how terrible will the graphics be on low settings? I could wait till june or july when I'm back in the united states, and buy it for my xbox, which I'll probably end up doing. I just hate to wait that long for such a badass game.Will playing Skyrim on lower settings make the game not so fun?
The game wont be as glittery and pretty obviously but that wont change the gameplay at all. Just make sure you can run it, grab the game, enjoy the game then when you get back to the states transfer the saves :-DWill playing Skyrim on lower settings make the game not so fun?
I have skyrim and my laptop isn't the best either so I have to play it on low settings. The scenery isn't as nice but it does not affect the game play :DWill playing Skyrim on lower settings make the game not so fun?
