Skyrim.................!?

how do i just freaking leave thalmor embassy without getting anything i just want to do something else ef this. how do i leave?!?!?Skyrim.................!?
I'm a girl gamer too, and i know how you feel when you first start gaming don't worry! Unfortunately, you cannot leave thalmor until you've completed the quest. Once your in, ask the bartender for a drink, and give that to the loud drunkard. Then the wood elf will let you through the back door. Once your though and into the kitchen, take your gear out of a cheat in the lil closet way. The wood elf will lock the door behind you, and you'll have to get out yourself. In the first room that will be on your left, you'll over hear 2 guards speaking to eachother about thalmor's plans about mages (this info is not important, just giving extra detail) there should be 2 guards and 1 mage in the room. After you've disposed of them, head up the stairs that should be somewhere on the right hand side when you enter the room. After heading upstairs, you'll find yourself in another hallway, follow the quest arrow and you should come to a room with a door that leads outside. (this door does not lead to the ACTUAL outside, just the outside area of the embassy, thus you cannot fast travel out) There are plenty of archers and mages out here, so be careful. i suggest sneaking past and fighting only when necessary. Once you enter the next building, there will be a normal civilian, a mage, and a guard. take them out and head to the study. open the chest and you should find info on one of the suspects of the Thalmor. Then head downstairs into the interrogation room. There should be a guard downstairs. Once you kill the guard, you can loot the chest for more quest info. As soon as you loot the chest, 3 more guards will appear with the wood elf guy held hostage, kill the guards. (whether or not the wood elf survives isnt important. he just complains.) You should have a key by now that leads to a trap door in the interrogation room. Go through the trap door, and run like hell. There is a frost troll down there! If you can run past him, and through the exit, you wont get killed. Once your outside, you can finally leave and do whatever you wish. Hope this helped!! :)
You have to complete the quest in order to leave. If you are still at that party, there are 2 ways to progress further.



1.) Go to the barkeep and get the drink.

2.) Talk to the rather loud guy sitting down who does not behave like your average noble.

3.) Give him the drink and ask him to create a scene.

4.) talk to the barkeep, and he'll open the door. Should be very simply from here.
