What level should I be at after killing my first dragon in Skyrim?

I just killed the first dragon in Skyrim. The one near the watchtower in White Run. I am almost level 5 after killing it. What level are people ussually at?What level should I be at after killing my first dragon in Skyrim?
You kill your first dragon in the quest "Dragon Rising"



Usually you will be around level 5-7 when you do it, but it also depends how many other sidequests you did
there is really no lvl to be able to fight dragons like skyrim, as like other bethesda games, the world and people around you lvl up with which makes it more fun and challenging as the game progresses

so go on out there and fight some dragons

the beauty of tes is that you can be any level and the game usually matches it that being said I suggest you kill the second dragon at the graveyard (you'll know when your there at knys something) and then go of and get distracted; do random quests kill more dragons find shouts all that stuff
i was at 8 but it depends you could do all side quests first and be level 50 when you do it that's what elder scrolls is about doing what you want how you want you don't even have to do the main quest if you don't want to be warned though if your level is too low when you vs aldurin you wont damage him at allWhat level should I be at after killing my first dragon in Skyrim?
Be more specific like what level do people kill there first dragon? After killing the dragon im not sure it can be any level. Because a person can be level 50 when first killing the watchtower in whiterun. if they dont follow the main quests.
It depends on when you feel like moving on with the main story line, its designed to be taken at around that level if not earlier, even if your not there the gaurds are more than enough to kill it on their own anyways.
I would level up because dragons will soon randomly show up when your traveling. Some dragons are eaiser and harder than others. You only need to level up a little more. Maybe 1 or 2 levels. After you should be fine. :) Good Luck!
I was about the same man, and I think that most people are level 5-10 when they kill them. But, your level doesn't really matter.
i was level 6
