Hi. I have the follower Lydia in Skyrim. I need her to equip (not just hold) some elven light armor. I gave her the elven light helmet and she put it on, but I have her the elven light armor and she didn't. Any ideas?How to equip item on follower in Skyrim?

The followers r funky in skyrim with equipment so u first got to remove any other armor she has then put in the elven armor if u cant remove her armor she came with then that armor is stronger cuz elven armor sucks. Just get a full outfit of dadric armor one for u and for ur follower lol thats what i got.How to equip item on follower in Skyrim?
If you ask your follower a question and ask it to hold an item it will come up with your inventory, all you have to do is click an item and it will equip it automatically
Take her armour, drop it, then give her your armour.
