My boyfriend LOVES skyrim and the other games and I want to buy skyrim and learn to play so I can show him I respect what he's into. But will I understand without buying an playing the others???Do I need to play all the elder scrolls games to understand skyrim?
Of course. Skyrim is a stand alone game, although you'll miss easter eggs and some challenges may seem harder if you have no Elder Scrolls experience because you won't know how Bethesda thinks..
