I have 60+ hours on skyrim on Xbox 360. I just finished the compainions quest were you become a werewolf and now my character is really close to the screen, it looks zoomed, and when I pullout weapons its normal. In 3rd person mode you can adjust the view from just behind your character to about 50 feet above and behind him. Just press in and hold the Left Stick while you use the Right Stick to adjust the viewpoint. Hold the left stick down and move the right stick up and down to move in and out
