Is skyrim worth getting at the moment despite the laggy issues on the PS3?

Im thinking about purchasing Elder Scrolls Skyrim for the Ps3 but ive seen alot of people complaining about the lag on the Playstation 3, theyv茅 released the 1.3 patch and thats seemed to fix everything except the lag. Is it that much of a problem or can it be fixed easily?

I also have a slim ps3 and will be getting a brand new 160 or 320gb soon, would this aid the problem at all?Is skyrim worth getting at the moment despite the laggy issues on the PS3?
The lag can be a little annoying but normally doesn't happen very often (it takes hours of game play on my ps3 before it start to slow)...as long as you remember to save the game you should be fine.

If it freezes you just have to restart the console. I suggest that when you see the game beginning to lag save it and restart the ps3 and the lag should stop for a while.

If you are really worried about the lag and have a computer then you can get it on ps3 as the bugs are easier to fix. But honestly there isn't a serious problem with playing on the console.
The game *probably* won't lag until you get about 50 or so hours into it. The larger the save file the more likely you are to have a problem. This game is amazing but unfortunately is loaded with bugs. Hopefully, Bethesda will address the bugs. If so, this game will be one of the best out there. Is skyrim worth getting at the moment despite the laggy issues on the PS3?
Why not just play it on your PC?

The console versions of Elder Scrolls games tend to fail horribly anyway due to the lack of mod availability.
i dont have skyrim but i havent really noticed much lag recently, even on mw3 which has a reputaion for being laggy as ****, which it isIs skyrim worth getting at the moment despite the laggy issues on the PS3?
No the new 160 or 320 won't aid it, the console ones will always be a bit laggy, the Elder Scrolls games are meant for PC.
