On skyrim how do you make a new profile without deleting your previous one?

We recently bought a PS3 and Skyrim with it and my dad and i want to play with separate profiles. How do you create separate profiles?On skyrim how do you make a new profile without deleting your previous one?
By clicking new game on the menu. It will automatically pop up, and you can start under a new profile. The game will automatically make a save right before you create a character as well, so it is a good idea to save separate from your original game. Create a PS3 profile (not Skyrim profile) for yourself. Then all games you play will save in your profile.
