How do I remove the controller to game delay when playing Skyrim on a PC with an Xbox 360 controller?

Whenever I attempt to use my wired Xbox 360 controller to play Skyrim (and sometimes other games) I notice that there is a small delay between the input made on the controller, and the output in the game. It is not horrible, but it simply feels weird and makes it more difficult to be fluent within the game. Is there anyway to remove the delay, or even reduce it?How do I remove the controller to game delay when playing Skyrim on a PC with an Xbox 360 controller?
