Is it too late for me to start archery in Skyrim?

Im level 11 in skyrim and i kinda wanna try archery my main focuses before were destruction (level 44) and one handed (level 38). My archery is only 16 but i want to focus on it now, will this spread me too thin or shouldni try archery? Thanks in advanced. Is it too late for me to start archery in Skyrim?
It's never too late, especially at Level 11. Your best bet would be to start hunting out in the woods, or even shooting at targets. For hunting, try the woods around Riften or the plains %26amp; geyser plateaus in Eastmarch. For targets, try the Ragged Flaggon Cistern, the back of Jorrvaskr, or in Solitude at the barracks.

Also, the best bow that you can get early on would probably be the Glass Bow. It started showing up around Level 16 for me, I think. Always pick the best bow you can find (that doesn't always necessarily mean the best enchanted one) and improve it at the nearest forge--it can do a lot of damage.
It is not too late to start archery.

I recommend also trying out sneak and archery. The nice thing about Skyrim is with no character classes it is never too late to try a new skill out. The only max you run into in the max of skills. So that being said if you want to try out archery on any of your older characters it is more then viable. It might be difficult because your damage will be lower then the mobs are used to but with weapon types (glass, elven, deadric) scaling it shouldnt be too much of a problem. Is it too late for me to start archery in Skyrim?
Well, this "I'm Walken Here" guy said exactly what I planned to, but I will elaborate. It is never to late to start a new skill in Skyrim, because the programmers intentionally made it so. They specifically said they did not want someone to go a few hours in and say, "oh, I wish I had done THIS skill instead!" That's why they got rid of the class system. There is no penalty for starting archery now as opposed to when you first started, especially since you are still only level 11.
No way, 81 is the max level and you have another 70 levels before that. There are no where NEAR that many perks in that skill tree! My other main was level 30 and was a heavy warrior tank with full on heavy armour and an axe, but one day, I thought "damn, I wanna be a mage!". So I sold the stuff, and made her focus on Illusion and Restoration as well as Destruction... if only this was Oblivion, I would have focused solely on Illusion and been invisible all the time.. but no, Skyrim doesn't have many spells for that T_TIs it too late for me to start archery in Skyrim?
Not too late at all. I had my melee up to around a fifty and my archery at around a twenty. Now my melee is a seventy, my archer is ninety-five. Just enchant some items to increase your archery and it will do enough damage to level up.
don't worry, I started archery on level 18 lol
You can still do archery but I recommend putting it on a lower setting as archery is weak in the beginning. It will get stronger later on don't worry.
go for it, but you should get trained until level 50 from that guy in riverwoood just google it
It's never too late.
