How do you pull up a favorites menu in Skyrim?

I recently got Skyrim and was wondering if there was a quicker way for me to access my most-used weapons. Thanks! How do you pull up a favorites menu in Skyrim?
Pull up the items menu and select a weapon, spell, or whatever you wish to add to the favorites menu, then select "Favorite" (on 360 it's the Y button, not sure about other platforms). That's pretty much it. To access the favorites menu in-game, just hit "up" or "down" on the directional pad.
In future say the platform you have the game on...

I can only speak for the PC version of the game. First you must favourite the item in your inventory. Then when you are outside of the main menus of the game you press whatever key the favourites menu is mapped to (default is z) to bring up a small scroll menu in the bottom left of the screen. How do you pull up a favorites menu in Skyrim?
xbox 360 = push up on the D pad

one of my favorite features in skyrim is the favorites menu.

Excellent for keeping all your spells and potions in one area if you play as a mage for example.
If you favorite the weapon in your inventory then when you are in the game you hit up on the D-pad for xbox and i have no idea for any other systems. How do you pull up a favorites menu in Skyrim?
Z for the PC or if you use a controller (any system including PC with an XBox 360 controller) Up or Down on the Directional-Pad (D-Pad)
For PS3 the up button on the control pad will pull up favorites.
Favorite your items first, then acces your favorites menu by using the D-pad (xbox)
On the Xbox push up or down on the d-pad which will pause the game while you choose to equip a favorited item.
Xbox-Up on D pad. PS3- Up on D pad. PC-Q
For xbox? While on the item screen previewing ur weapons press Y u will see an icon at the bottom left saying favourite
I use down on the d-pad. Does the direction matter? Not sure
